Short answer: a standard air conditioner installation covers the indoor and outdoor units, a pipe run of up to 3 m, a wall opening with insulation, connecting the refrigerant lines and power, vacuuming, a pressure test and start-up. With us it costs 150 € for a residential unit up to 14,000 BTU, 180 € for 16,000 – 24,000 BTU and 220 € for 24,000 – 33,000 BTU when the unit is bought from Svit Komfortu.
Anything outside that scope is charged extra: a longer pipe run, work at height, a concealed run inside the wall, removing an old unit. Below is what the price includes and what it does not, what installing an air conditioner bought elsewhere costs, and how to compare two quotes. Current prices by capacity are on the page air conditioner installation in Varna.
What a standard installation includes
“Standard” means an installation in a home where the outdoor unit goes on the facade or balcony next to the indoor unit and the pipes go through the wall by the shortest route. For a residential air conditioner our standard service includes eight steps:
- Free consultation and site visit in Varna.
- Choosing the spot for the indoor and outdoor units.
- Drilling the opening and fitting thermal insulation.
- Mounting and fixing both units.
- Connecting the refrigerant lines (pipe run up to 3 m) and the electrical connections.
- Vacuuming the system and a pressure test.
- Start-up and setting up the unit.
- Instructions for use and maintenance.
A standard installation in a home usually takes 2 – 4 hours. What each step looks like on site is described in the article air conditioner installation step by step.

Standard installation price by capacity
The price depends on the type and capacity of the unit. The more powerful the air conditioner, the thicker the pipes and the heavier the outdoor unit. Prices as of 15.10.2026:
| Unit | Bought from Svit Komfortu | Bought from another supplier |
|---|---|---|
| Residential air conditioner up to 14,000 BTU | 150 € | 180 € |
| Residential air conditioner 16,000 – 24,000 BTU | 180 € | 220 € |
| Residential air conditioner 24,000 – 33,000 BTU | 220 € | 260 € |
| Floor-standing, ducted or cassette up to 30,000 BTU | 220 € | 260 € |
| Floor-standing, ducted or cassette 36,000 – 48,000 BTU | 245 € | 280 € |
| Floor-standing, ducted or cassette 50,000 – 90,000 BTU | 270 € | 300 € |
| Multi-split, outdoor unit | 80 € | 100 € |
| Multi-split, each indoor unit | 50 € | 65 € |

For a residential air conditioner the standard is a pipe run of up to 3 m. For floor-standing, ducted and cassette units the price is for a standard installation without the pipe run, and for multi-split systems the pipe length is not counted. So for these units the pipe run is priced separately after a site visit.
Capacity also sets the price of the unit itself. If you are still choosing a size, see how many BTU you need and the models on the pages 9,000 BTU air conditioners and 12,000 BTU air conditioners.
What a standard installation does not include
These jobs are not hidden fees. They simply do not occur on every site, so their price is given after a visit, once the wall, the floor and the distance have been seen:
- Pipe run over 3 m. When the outdoor unit is far from the indoor one, extra pipes and insulation are needed, and sometimes extra refrigerant.
- Work at height. An outdoor unit on a facade without a balcony above the first floor may require a climber or a lift.
- Concealed pipe run. Pipes built into the wall mean chiselling and plastering. A visible run in a decorative trunking is faster and cheaper.
- Draining condensate far from the unit. If the water cannot be led straight outside, a longer drain is made or a condensate pump is fitted.
- A separate electrical line. Powerful units or old wiring sometimes need a new line and breaker.
- Removing an old air conditioner before installing the new one.
If you know one of these conditions applies to you, mention it when you get in touch. The site visit in Varna is free and with no obligation, so the final price is known before the installation, not after it.
Installing an air conditioner bought from another shop
Many people buy the unit from a hypermarket or an online shop and look only for installation. We install such air conditioners too, as long as the technical requirements are met. The prices are in the right column of the table: 180 € for a residential unit up to 14,000 BTU, 220 € for 16,000 – 24,000 BTU and 260 € for 24,000 – 33,000 BTU.
The difference compared with a unit from us is 30 – 40 €. Before you order, check two things. First, whether the box contains everything for the installation (with some models the pipes and cable are not included). Second, what the warranty card says about installation: with many manufacturers the warranty is valid only if the unit is installed by a qualified technician. The full terms for units from other retailers are on the page air conditioner installation in Varna.
Removing and relocating an air conditioner
Removal is not just taking the unit off the wall. Done properly, it starts by pumping the refrigerant down into the outdoor unit so it does not escape when the pipes are disconnected. Then the unit is taken down, and when relocating it is installed in the new place with a new pipe run and a new vacuuming.
We do not publish a price for removal and relocation, because it depends on the floor, access to the outdoor unit and whether the old pipes can be reused. We give it after a site visit. If you are replacing an old air conditioner with a new one from us, the removal is agreed together with the installation of the new one.
Multi-split: how the installation is priced
In a multi-split system one outdoor unit serves several indoor units. Installation is priced per unit: 80 € for the outdoor unit and 50 € for each indoor unit if the system is bought from us. A system with two indoor units comes to 180 € for installation, with three indoor units 230 €. For units from another supplier the totals are 230 € and 295 €.
Pipe length is not included here, because the indoor units are usually in different rooms. Ready-made sets are in the category multi-split systems.
How to compare two installation quotes
The lowest price in an ad is often for less work. Before you choose, ask every installer the same questions:
- Is vacuuming included? Installation without vacuuming leaves air and moisture in the system. The compressor works harder and the unit’s warranty may be void. With us vacuuming is always included.
- How many metres of pipe run are included? With us it is 3 m for a residential unit. Compare prices only for the same length.
- Is there a warranty on the installation itself? Separate from the unit’s warranty.
- Who pays if refrigerant has to be topped up? With a standard run it is usually not needed; with a long run it is agreed in advance.
- Is the site visit included? With us the consultation and site visit are free.
The most common installation mistakes show up only months later: a refrigerant leak, dripping water, a noisy outdoor unit. That is why a difference of 20 – 30 € between two quotes is rarely worth the risk. If you want the unit and installation at one price, see air conditioners with installation included.
